Enjoy The Silence

Growing up, I was a pretty big fan of the English rock band Keane. Songs like Spiralling and Somewhere Only We Know resonated as I spent lunch times alone with my headphones.

At the dawn of each year, I like to go back and discover the jewels I may have missed in my youth. Recently, the band’s cover of Depeche Mode’s Enjoy The Silence reminded me the value of secrets. Maybe no one needs to know what we want. Donuts.

Me? I just want another Black Album. I think the instrumentals were totally crazy; it’s because of Timbaland (Dirt Off Your Shoulder) I sometimes think of getting the Hives back in my music collection. Lately I hear that Busta Rhymes has been tearing it up; Aesap Rocky has been all over my homies’ favourite lists, and Big K.RI.T. recently ate all the cereal in the South. Of course I say XO despite myself in love notes to Nina B. Or Selena Ebanks
